Bachelor of Commerce (Hons)
Often students are not able to differentiate between Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce. B.Com Honors is a three-year degree program that consists of 40 subjects in total. In addition to these subjects, students are also given specialization in one subject. For specialization, students can choose one of the subjects in Marketing Management, Accounting and Financial Management, International Trade and Finance, E-Commerce, Banking, or Human and Resource Management. In Bachelor of Commerce, subjects are taught in less detail than honors.
B.Com- Accounting and Finance (B.Com-Accts and Finance)
The Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance is a three-year degree program conducted after the 12th standard. The Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Insurance) is both an academic and professional degree. For this, 12th pass students first have to do a foundation course. After completing the course, students get a chance to work on the cost accountant and related posts. For this, an application has to be made to The Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India. The entrance exam takes place in June and December for admission. After the foundation course, the intermediate course is to be done, and then like CA, the course is completed by giving the final exam.
Cost and work accountant (CWA)
Information about finance, investments, stock market, capital, mutual funds are given in Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Markets. The program consists of 6 semesters and a total of 41 subjects are taught. After obtaining this degree, one can get a job as a Trainee Associate, Finance Officer, Finance Controller, Finance Planner, Risk Management, Money Market Dealer Insurance Manager.
Chartered accountant
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) offers a Chartered Accountant course. To start a career in CA, it starts with the Common Proficiency Test (CPT), which only after passing can the student cross the first stage of his goal and reach the second stage. It covers four subjects such as Accounting, Mercantile Law, General Economics, and Quantitative Aptitude. After passing 12th in the Commerce stream from a recognized board, any student can pursue a career in CA. Many times students make their debut after graduation to participate in the CA race. But due to the long duration of CA course, the right time to start CA is only after passing 12th. For preparing for CA, students should first get a stronghold in accounting. It is very important to have an expert view in students with expert knowledge in the management and financial sector.
